DAVE RAGAN III - HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Over the past twenty–five years I have given thousands of golf lessons to people of all different shapes, sixes and natural abilities. I have had the fortune to play with and observe some of the greatest golf instructors in the world. None of which had a greater influence in developing a method to recognize faults immediately and communicate the problem clearly in a simplified form more than my father Dave Ragan Jr.
Dave Ragan Jr. was a Member of the 1963 U.S. Ryder Cup Team, a multiple tournament winner on the PGA Tour and voted 3 times Teacher of the Year by his peers. His experience comes from playing and sharing swing thoughts with the greatest players of our time such as Hogan, Nelson, Snead, Palmer and Nicklaus, plus many more. As mentioned above, Dave Jr. has developed all of his playing experience and combined it into one of the best teaching methods available today.
The Ragan’s believe there is no one secret to hitting the ball harder or straighter. Instead, there are several principles that must be learned and practiced in order to play up to your God given abilities. There is also a mental aspect to golf which is every bit as important as the physical act of swinging the club. With a positive mental attitude there is no reason in the world why you cannot play a satisfying game of golf well into your later years.
A will to learn and the desire to put newly gained knowledge to work over and over again until it becomes second nature will yield lower and lower scores as you develop your own sound swing characteristics.
